Board or Commission Name: ETHICS REVIEW COMMITTEE Description: There shall be a municipal committee known as the Ethics Review Committee (hereafter referred to as the "Committee"), the purpose of which is to hear complaints solely of violation of Part 5 of Chapter 5, Administration of Government, § 5-93 et seq., and not any state conduct statute. It is comprised of five regular members and three alternate members, appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Board of Aldermen. [NRO 12-30] Any individual having information that a municipal employee, as defined in Chapter 5, Administration of Government, § 5-93, is engaged in improper activities or has a conflict of interest under Part 5 (Conduct Regulations) of Chapter 5, Administration of Government, of the City Code, may file his or her complaint with the City Solicitor/Corporation Counsel, who shall forthwith submit said complaint to the Ethics Review Committee.
