Board or Commission Name:NASHUA ASSOCIATION FOR THE ELDERLY


Description:The Board of Directors of NAE shall include two ex-officio members representing the City. One shall be designated by the Mayor and the other shall be designated by the President of the Board of Aldermen. The ex-officio City representatives shall serve for two-three year terms. Any single person may serve as one of the City’s designated representatives for as many as three (3) consecutive two-year terms, but then would have to rotate off the board for at least one full term before being re-appointed. This board is in effect for the term of the lease, which is thirty years with an automatic extension for three (3) additional ten (10) year terms, unless Lessee terminates it at the end of the then current term by giving the City written notice of the intent to terminate at least six (6) months prior to the end of the then current term. The lease was signed on July 16, 2004.
